Oxford Dictionary of English (with sound)

Ten days or two weeks ago my copy of the Oxford Deluxe (ODE and OTE) suddenly stopped working. I had paid more than 50 dollars for this app when I got my first iPad in about 2012, and absolutely loved it — particularly the thesaurus. I would leave it open when I was writing and it helped me avoid repetition and cliché, without fiddling around and changing files on the computer. I looked first for the Oxford Deluxe hoping I could find an update.
Then I looked for a replacement and eventually found this app. Obviously, it is only half the worth of the previous version — to me, the thesaurus was more valuable to me than the dictionary. I would like to know why there is no “fix’ for the previous, richer, version, and whether there is anything I can do to get the former Oxford Deluxe up and working again.
